The Infinix Hot 10i is finally available in Africa. The smartphone has been around but sold in the Middle East and some Asian regions and some South American regions like Colombia. Now the affordable android phone is available in Nigeria and Kenya but has some downgraded features and specifications.
Design and Display
The Infinix Hot 10i maintains the same body design you will find on other Infinix Hot 10 series. The device has a nice body design that is wrapped with all plastic and front glass. This is why you will notice some stripe lining going on on the rear which is to enhance the grip and prevent accidental falls.
It comes with a compact display which offers a screen size of 6.52-inches with 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. The display screen is an IPS panel, and it has a notch overhead that houses the selfie sensor.
The Infinix Hot 10i has a dual-camera setup on the back. It features a 13-megapixel autofocus sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and they are paired with four LED flashes. There is a single 8-megapixel lens kept within the notch upfront for selfies camera.
Hardware and Software
The Infinix Hot 10i for Africa comes with UNISOC SC9863A octa-core CPU while the Asian version has a MediaTek Helio P65 octa-core CPU, which is a better CPU option than this African version.
Apart from that, it has just 2GB RAM with either 32/64GB ROM while the Asian version has 3/4/6 GB RAM with 32/64/128GB ROM. You can also expand the inbuilt memory using a micro SDcard. The handset is powered by Android 11 OS based on XOS 7.5 on top.
Battery and Network
The Infinix Hot 10i has a non-removable battery of 6000mAh with a 10W charger out of the box. It packs FaceID and comes with a rear placed fingerprint for security.
